BROOKE & MICHELLE’S WEDDING DAY DISASTER

It’s a miracle the House Rules couple even made it down the aisle.

Even though they’ve done it tough on House Rules, it appears that Brooke and Michelle are used to chaos and disarray.

That’s because they’ve had plenty of practice! The parents- of-two exclusively revealed to New Idea that the day supposed to be the happiest of their lives was far from a joyous occasion…

‘It stresses me out just thinking about it,’ Michelle tells us of their wedding day.

Brooke, 43, chimes in: ‘It hadn’t rained for three years in Adelaide, and so what decides to happen on the day of our wedding…? Our eldest daughter Addison had never experienced rain on her face before, so she was bawling. Then she pooped her pants and I didn’t have a nappy, and the rain was going sideways!’

‘I was drenched by the time I reached the ceremony,’ she recalls.

‘The photographer didn’t work out, so we don’t have any proper photos of the wedding. Our acoustic guitarist forgot the lyrics to our song, so we had to sing along! I was tired and stressed – it was terrible.’
